I need to draw an arrhenius plot and usually that we have to have y-axis and x-axis values which both begin at 0, do I have to do this for the arrgenius plot as well or how should I draw it?

  1. You should be plotting ln(k) vs 1/T. Make sure T is in Kelvins. A downward sloping straight line should be obtained, with the intercept = ln(A), and the slope = -Ea/R.

These plots are a little confusing, since 1/T's are very small numbers and the plot does not go through the origin. If you have access to a plotting program like MS Excel, you will get an idea of how it should appear.
