is this true or not and why and how so?

Thanks for your answers!

have heard that the "Right side" is the side for artistic thinking, while the "Left Side" is for logic.. however, would it be instead the subconcious that is the area for artistic thinking?

why and how so in your opinion?

  1. Yes, I suppose, as intelligence is generally associated with maturity and growing-up.

Whereas, imagination and creativity is learnt so quickly from such a young age that I guess you could call it child-like.

  2. I think only once the logical side of life has been allowed to be aired and dealt with then can the child like side can then be allowed to been seen..........

  3. In a way yes, you could say that, but however I believe that the Right Side could be considered the fun side and less "strict" side than the logical left side... I see it as the right side being the more "daring, psychical an innovative" side and the left being the more "mentally constructed"

Like a person similar to Da Vinci or Michaelangelo had a "Right Sided" mentallity because they used there artistic visions to change the world, but it wouldn't have been for their Left Side then they wouldn't be able to form their Masterpeices'

But people similar to Socrates, Plato, or Galileo who had a "Left Sided" mentality because they had the logical reasoning to chagne the world, but it wouldn't have been their Right Side they wouldn't be able to take maybe the bold steps to change the world, even if the people at the time did not neccesarily agree (Galileo was persecuted for his beliefs by the Church)

Long Story short the Left Side thinks it but the Right Side Creates it

Its not the best explaintion but Im 14 so I think its pretty  good, Hope it helps!

  4. It's more free than the logical side, not as conditioned by society as our logical side is, more open to the abstract, I suppose it could be regarded as childlike, but the artistic side is also capable of very complex operations.
