He's just trying to support his belief with some senseless drivel. He is crazy, if he believes I'd believe such silly stuff. In the long run, he just adds more proof that the Bible is fiction with such silly stuff as this.

I don't know about "crazy" but he's arguing on 2 fronts so his conclusion is kind of flawed. I mean, the science stuff sounds pretty convincing (if you're open minded) - but to then suddenly make the Biblical leap seems to me to be trying a bit too hard.
