  1. Is this your first baby? Its somewhat early for a first time mom to notice anything, although not impossible.

And usually the uterus isnt to your ribcage just yet.  It typically is just under your belly button (http://www.womenshealthcaretopics.com/pr... - see under the "Your Growth and Development" section)...so, maybe its something like gas that you're feeling.  The first time I was pregnant, I felt like I was having twitches...some moms say it feels like gas bubbles.

You know, maybe if you feel it under your ribcage and it seems like its int he same spot for 3 weeks...could you be further along than you think??  Have you had an ultrasound to gauge how far along you really are?

  2. if you poke gently in different areas, you should get a noticeable response! usually in different areas also.. It could be the way he/she is positioned. Congrats!!

  3. honestly that early on there is no way they can be up by the rib cage already right now they are only around the belly button area..

  4. I would say that 19 weeks is a little early to be feeling the baby around your rib cage....and if you have been feeling this in the same spot for 3 weeks now....it's not the baby, honey...sorry.   Your time will come though....should be within the next month, but it will be around the belly button area...just wait til you are around 7 months....that was my favorite time.....watching the baby rolling around in my tummy...lol....looked as if something were trying to escape!!!

  5. 19 weeks?   its a human living!!! so yes your baby is moving you just didn't get to notice it!!!! its a part of fetus defense mechanism!!!!!!!!!!!!

when i accompany my friend in her vaginal ultrasound  we saw her baby  moving on the screen!!!!!.....

there's  what you called an amniotic fluid thats surrounds in your baby that help her to move freely!!!!!!.......
