Hi, generally in Nice there are only rocks on the beach. There are also small pieces of sand, public or private beaches, but, better is to go a little out of the city and you'll find a wonderful beach.

I'm writing from France! sorry but there are only rocks (pebbles) on the beach at Nice... but in the towns nearby there is sand!
