Question:

Is the benching of Kidd in the whole 2nd half a bad sign for the Mavericks?

It seems Kidd can't force himself anymore. Every game Kidd plays tells us that the gamble Cuban made is losing. Dirk may have stepped up, but Kidd looks outdated. Meanwhile in New Jersey, we are expecting Devin Harris to evolve into a Tony Parker type of player with his speed and one-man breaks.

  1. Its a big loss and a bad sign for Mavericks, because Kidd is the one who run the play for the Mavericks and he make his teammates look better. Although Kidd is old he can still run a team through hi amazing plays. When the Mavericks put Kidd in the bench who will run the play for Dallas no one although they have back-up guards but not as good play that Kidd creates on the team. This will make Dallas future even worst and they may not make it to the playoffs.

  2. thats the most stupid trade that the mavs had, kidd is getting old, and harris is just having his prime time

  3. Im a big mavs fan but that was the worst trade in the history of the NBA. they traded everything in a risky move for a 36 year old fading star. i think kidd has something left in the tank but not enough to be worth what was giving up

  4. Im the Mavs #1 fan but i am ready to kill mark cuban. Why would he trade our starting center, Devin Harris who is entering his prime as a very good player, for a old dude who can pass but not much else. Cuban thought he was the missing link to our offense. Well it looks like e was wrong. With Terry and Dirk aging, the mavs need to win soon if theyre going to win. Kidd, the Favre of the nba, isnt helping a bit. We neeed to draft someone that will make an immediate impact.

  5. No, they are just saving him for the real olympics.   Yes, he may only have a few years left, but it wll be good for him to start from training camp in Dallas.
