I found my name in the bible code it said I would be rich, but I'm poor that my children and husband would die it never said how. They could all die of old age. So what if my name is in the bible code isn't just as silly as a horoscope if it only gives generalizations. I mean if the world is going to end and you can't overt it what is the point of even writing down and encoding that it will end. What about the Moby d**k Code and what other books can you think of that you can do the same thing with.

  1. Yes, Vivi, it is very wrong and leads people into superstition and trying to use the Bible to manipulate the future.

I don't pay any attention to these kinds of books. I have plenty to do just keeping some time to read the Bible. When I ask God for guidance He will and does give it to me and He doesn't have to use a silly code!

What a waste of time and a misleading "dry well"!

  2. If horoscopes are silly then why are you wasting time in this section.

it's a matter of belief. people are going to have different opinions about both subjects.

  3. Where is it? i have never heard of it?

  4. The Bible Code is silly, just like horoscopes and Ms. Cleo's psychic hotline.  Your future is what YOU make it, not what an old book predicts, or the movements of the planets foretell.

  5. I think you are the ultimately silly one if you think there are codes in books like Moby d**k.

Its a book. Just a book.

  6. These codes in books aren't even remotely similar to astrology in the least so I don't even know what relevance one has to the other. It's like apples and oranges.

  7. It really depends on how margins are set. Take almost any book and you can find words. Just like a word search puzzle, they are in all directions. Also bear in mind that Hebrew alphabet has no vowels.

Human beings are natural pattern seekers. But we often try to make them something that they are not.

  8. Yes, it is silly.

  9. No, the Bible Code is not true. The bible cannot dictate a person's life but it does help many lead a good life as it gives great advice. I don't believe you can find your fate/destiny in it. The bible tells us we have free will. You chose how you will live your life. Our decisions make us who we are. What you do now, is what you'll be in the future.
