  1. birth date in vietnam is counted accord. to western calendar , but strangely , death date & death anniversary counted on lunar one.

u can check yr lunar birthdate easily with a century-calendar.

    note : lunar leap-year has 13 months...

  2. Look in your birth cert.  Ask your parents if that date is correct, Western or Luna.  Go to vietshare.com, click on Tuvi, on the right hand side there is a section call:  Lịch Âm DÆ°Æ¡ng Đối Chiếu

    Lịch Tam Tông Miếu

Đổi Âm Lịch Và Tìm Bát Tự

Đổi Âm Lịch Sang Dương Lịch

Đổi Giờ Dương Lịch Sang Âm Lịch

Đổi Năm Dương Lịch Sang Âm Lịch

You can convert from Luna to Western  or even Western Vietnam to Western America.  Please take the time section in consideration (Eastern, Pacific...etc due to the hours differences from Vietnam)  Lot of work, but worth it.

  3. Just follow the calendar, time in VN ahead 12 hours with USA time. Sample in USA 6: PM Aug 25, 2007 then in VN 6:00 AM Aug 26 2007.

  4. My clock on my cell phone world time converter-it's really neat, says it's 2:22 on Aug. 26th here and 6:23 on Aug.25th in vietnam. That's a difference of 7 hour and 59 minutes, plus it's one day later here.Your birthday would be one day later here.

  5. same as USA.....

  6. good question; there is the dates for the asian luner calander [ usually the small numbers ] and thedates of the western , i believe it's called "cesarian callender"[???] have the large numbers.. they dont easily convert because for example the 5th of january [western]this year may fall on the 15 dec[ luner] but next year it will be diffrent. you would have to go back and see [ or calculate ] what were the luner and western dates when you were born on ... another question i always had was is a vietnameses birthday the day of "delivery " or the day of "conception".... i've heard both versions on diffrent occations....????
