Is the blackberry pearl a good phone for me to get?

i want a phone that will last long and has lots of extras like texting camera video and things like that. I want t-mobile and i think that this phone is right for me. I dont need internet just a nice phone that has good extras(video camera texting games etc.)

I just got mine a month or so ago (Verizon) and ive been having issues with it... it deletes all my text messages and call logs... if i go on the internet then try to make a call my speaker doesnt work and i cant hear anything..... its really more trouble than its worth, try a different PDA

Personally, i LOVE mine. Don't scratch it up (Don't buy the white one, although it looks lovely with a flower background). I'm in LOVE with it. The prongs in my usb cord connector (as well as charger, I charge it on a dock now).

So yeah, I've had my share of problems. But t-mobile is the most expensive for a blackberry pearl. Try to get Verizon. TRUST ME on this one. . .T-mobile is the absolute worst for it. Unless you wanna pay, oh say, 20-40 extra. It might just be my plan but check the plans out first.

Also, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the internet on it. It's wonderful.

I agree, I'd get the iphone over the blackberry but eh, whatever! lol. I am too afraid to break that. & My pearl has a pink jelly cover I love.

The blackberry service, by the way, sometimes deletes all of your messages. It sucks. But you just take out the battery & turn it on again.

So, you have your ups and downs, but I'd def. go for it :)

I suggest you to get the pantech duo from atnt i think is really nice and fast you slide the phone up and you have the numbers and you slide it to the side and you have a computer keyboard

I will not advice that. I got my first Pearl in October, by April I had gone through 4 Pearl replacements from T-Mobile. I then got the new Pearl 8120 and the reception sucks big time. My screen is messed up right now from falling. My next phone will not be a Pearl.
