Is the blackberry pearl an expensive phone?

im 14 and want to get a good phone but dont want an overy expensive overly hyped phone....do u think the blackberry pearl would be appropriate for me?

I got a blackberry pearl when i was 15. it just came out so it was more pricey, but i love it! i think it would be worth you buying :)

the real question is what do you need your phone for?

BB attracted a lot of attention to the pearl as it's model for everyone. but if you're not gonna be using internet on your phone, there's no use buying a BB and paying for your phone service AND internet plan.

if you want a cheap phone, you won't buy a PDA.
