  1. Blackberry's are stupid. Get a regular cell phone. Keyboard is like on a computer by the way, but my point still stands.

  2. they are awesome

it takes some getting used to and you have to learn a little

but once you get the hang of it you will be thrilled b/c they kick butt!

  3. The blackberry pearl is easy to use, but poorly made. I have had my phone about 8 months and I am on my 2nd one. The slightest bump cause it to power off. My sister also has one, and her track ball fell out. It's also made out of plastic which should speak for it's self. You can use it for facebook easily, but the internet is a different story.  I'd just go with an iPhone.

  4. My uncle has one that I was trying out.  Its not hard to control, but it is pretty confusing.  I would just get a regular cell, especially since u dont need a blackberry at 15.

  5. no it's easy

  6. i had the blackberry for 2 months but then i got really sick of it, it sucked.

i switched to a sidekick and its much better for me.

    it also looks cuter.

  8. I have a Sidekick LX, which I highly recommend, that has the same scrolling trackball. I have never had any problems with it breaking, so I wouldn't worry about that.

However, I have known others with the Pearl and I find it extremely difficult to use! The keyboard has two letters per key, so it's really not much more useful than a normal cellphone with three per key. It still takes a long time to type anything, especially with the small buttons.

The Sidekick line, on the other hand, has a full, large keyboard. The phone itself is just a bit larger but is much more user-friendly. The programs are easier to use, without all those extra functions you'll never ever need. The Sidekick is the best alternative SmartPhone I have found!
