Is the book Inkheart good?

I've started reading it, but it's kind of hard to get in to. Does it get any better? And how's the series, overall?

The plot is good, and the concept of the Inkworld. I thought that it was hard to get into too, but I eventually finished the book. The style of writing is kind of different and hard to get used to. It was worth reading, but not really my type of book.

Once you get used to the writing style youd be surprised at how interesting and complicated the plot is.Please read it!

It was one of my favorite series when I was 11.

It gets better; I would continue reading it.  Overall, the series is decent; it's great for 14 and under, and the plot is fun.

i believe it is a good book. it starts out kind of slow but actually when the plot starts unfolding and u learn more about the characters, you can really get into the book, and it becomes one of those "cant put down" books ;) i highly recommend it

Yea I think it's a really good series. But you are right that it's hard to get into. But the series is good overall. The third book is coming out soon and the movie come out in 2009!
