Well, this is a very controversial question, but based on my reading, the books, (whole saga), was worth every penny. It has just the right amount of romance, danger, adventure, and suspense any book could contain, but then again, it is up to you, but if you decide you want to read it, check Wal Mart. Also, I have heard ridiculous rumours about the book being horrific, not true, not true at all. And also, if you want to know what it is about, I believe the previous answers have given a fairly accurate over view.

its amazing all 4 books are a good read...the 4th isnt as good as the rest but read twilight and you'll be hooked, i think they're really good, better than the harry potter books

but dont take my word for it, read it and find out

The whole series is very good. They've been on the Ny bestseller list for months. I highly recommend them. :)

Of course it's good! The best book ever!! Well if you like books with romance and lots of suspense then this is the right book for you! The movie's coming out soon on November 21st. The Twilight series is 4 books. There might be one more coming out but a different person's perspective. Here's Stephenie Meyer's (the author of Twilight) website.

Yes yes totally! There's a reason that people are crazy over it! I wouldn't recommend it if you are under twelve though, the fourth and third books have some inappropriate parts. They aren't that bad though.

I love the series. The last one is my favorite :)

I wont give you any spoilers because your should just read it and be on edge the whole time not knowing what will happen.

It's a vampire teenage love story: Bella Swan, an ordinary teenage high school comes to Forks, Washington to live with her father so her mother can travel with Bella's new step-dad. She then meets this one boy, Edward Cullen and his adoptive family who catches her attention and at first, it looks like he hates her. As the story unfolds, it turns out that Edward and his whole adoptive family, brothers, sisters and even his parents are all vampires and that this clan is unique because they feed on animal blood than human blood. They begin to talk more and more and Bella realizes she is unconditionally in love with Edward and that he loves her as well; however, he wants her to be safe because he considers himself a monster and a constant danger especially to Bella because its her delicious-smelling blood that he craves the most out of all his 100 year old life. The story as it progresses reveals more and more about their forbidden love and the dangers that surround them.

I hope this gets you to read it and I really, really recommend it, please read it.

If you like romance then yes many people think its good.

It's a mix genre book that works with dark fantasy and romance.  However, Meyer is amazing in her writing in the sense that she can take a relationship far outside normal means (vampires in Twilight, aliens in Host) and really make it about personal relationships that the reader can relate to.

Personally I don't like the Twilight series.  In my opinion it was boring and the characters were 2 dimentional.

OMG ITS ABOUT A GIRL WHO FALLS IN LOVE WITH A VAMPIRE IT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD THE MOVIE COMES OUT NOVEMBER 21, 2008 HERE IS THE SUMMARY THAT IS IN THE BOOK:

"When 17 yr. old Bella leaves Phoenix to live with her father in Forks,Washington, she meets an exquisitely handsome boy at shcool named EDWARD (he is sooo HOTT) for whom she feels an overwhelming attraction and who she comes to realize is not wholly human"

About 3 things i was absolutely positive. First Edward was a vampire. Second, there was apart of him- and i didnt know how dominant that part was -that thirsted for my blood. And third, i was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.
