Is the book "A walk to Remember" by Nicholas Sparks good?

I LOVE romance but with happy endings!

is that one good?

i read message in a bottle and didn't really like it because i thought it was pradictable. i kind of knew he was going to die.

but i don't want sad endings!

if the book has a sad ending, then tell me what the book is about. if not, then don't tell me, i'll read it

Amazing

but really, really sad.

The ending is really sad, too.  If you didn't like the ending to message in a bottle, you definetly don't want to read this book.

It's even sadder than the movie.

I love Nicholas Sparks, but sometimes his books can be a bit predictable.  "A Walk to Remember" is different from some of his other books b/c the 2 main characters are high school aged, rather than the usual 30-something characters he uses.  I had to get the tissues out for this one though.  It was a beautiful story though.

Have you read any of his others besides Message In A Bottle?  The Notebook is great, and so is The Guardian.  I'm reading The Choice right now, and its pretty good so far too, although I think I know what's going to happen....

All his books are poorly written but romantic and touching.

But... Walk to Remember has a sad ending!

It's a great book, and it was pretty sad near the end.

It's about a preacher's daughter who falls in love with a normal guy. She's not a typical girl. She takes her bible around everywhere. She helps the orphans. Something really tragic happens near the end of the book.
