  1. Yes, the pedal configuration in a right hand drive car in the UK is for the accelerator and brake pedal to be operated with the right foot.

The left foot operates the clutch and be aware that most cars in the UK are manual gearbox....a stick shift.

If you require an automatic to avoid the need of a clutch then make sure you request one.

  2. Yes it is desiged to be used with your right foot, leaving your left foot free to control the clutch.

  3. Brake pedal is in the middle of the three pedals for manual trans cars.

AFAIK the pedal layout is standard around the world.

Auto trans cars have two pedals.

  4. Yes, the brake pedal is for the right foot to deal with, not just in US, UK, Europe or the Orient. Even here in Malaysia, the right foot switches in between the accelerator and the brake, whilst the left pedal (optional) operates either the clutch or the foot parking brake. In South Africa, the right foot even operates the button for a side flame-blower (for security)!

  5. Yes it is.
