Is the canadian food guide really all that healthy?

so i have to measure my food, and supposedly it's the healthy amount, but i've always wondered, are the portions really that healthy if i am quite often not full from them?

  1. The Canadian food guide was updated a while back. So make sure you are using the up to date one.

    If you are, then yes... they are the healthy portions.

    You may not be full because you are not eating often enough. Eating smaller meals every 3 hours (5 to 6 times a day) is ideal. As well, have a small amount of protein with each meal... it will keep you going. And don't forget 4 glasses of water per day.
