Is the canon powersot sd850 is a good camera?

if i get it, i'm going to be using it for a lot of concerts.

like low light pictures and also videos.

is it good for stuff like that? also, how is the battery life?

No I would not recommend this for videos. You need a proper video camera for low light videos. Also you need a much bigger lens for low light situations unless you are close up or have a powerful flash gun.
