Is the cap and trade scheme going to hurt energy companies?

Who pass the cost on to the consumer? What about low income people who it'll hurt? Is it a good idea?

It's not going to hurt them, it's going to make them and speculators rich!  But you're right--prices will go up for consumers and it's not reducing "greenhouse gases" as promised!  It's a scam!
