Is the car legally mine?????

my mom bought me a car, i signed the bill of sale and got the title tranfered to my name and took the car to my house. Shes trying to take it back now. She's saying shes gonna call the cops, is the car legally mine???

If it is your name on the documents, and your mum paid outright for it, then it is your car and your mum cannot legally take it back, but if your mum took out finance to pay for it, and she was to stop making the payments, the car could be siezed by the finance company as the car is technically theirs until any outstanding finance is paid off.

Is her name anywhere at all on any documents ?  If not, then it is your car alone.  Does she still owe on the payments or do you owe her?  Do you have insurance?

As the other answers pointed out, the car may be your s legally for now but you may lose it either by repossession due to nonpayment on any car loan and/or being sued over it.

Yes unless in your state  you are a minor then it is hers. Some places do not let minors own cars.

if tne title is in your name it is yours

It's yours. You could not have had the title changed to your name if it was financed without going through the company financing it. She can call whoever she wants.
