  1. I normally go to Mexico(caribean side) in Febuary.

    Never had bad weather

  2. the Caribean is a good holiday anytime. Lucky you

  3. I agree with all the answers Caribbean is an endless summer. If you can travel in March is even better. february is good but it can be a bit cool for my taste. You will only see tourists in the beaches in February. Locals prefer the summer months. Mind you feb in Caribbean is like August in Europe.

  4. Yes :) I went to the dominican republic this february and loved it! It was much better than when I went in November 07'.

    You'll love it!

  5. Yes, and you should visit Trinidad and Tobago Carnival celebrations (second only to Brazil's). It's on February 23 & 24. If you're looking for action then Trinidad Carnival is the best, and if you're looking for relaxation then Tobago is the place to be. Two islands, one country. There are ferries servicing both islands (2 1/2 hrs).

  6. The is the absolute PERFECT time for going to the Caribbean... which is why I have already been living there on my boat for about 4 months by the time February rolls around.

  7. Yes it's a great time of year for most Caribbean destinations. And it's not super humid if that's a concern for you.

The only thing I would be careful of is the timing in February for 'reading week' where college/university students are out of school for their break. Sometimes it can get rowdy and overly crowded at resorts if there are many there.

If that doesn't bother you, then go for it!

The weather is just simply gorgeous!
