  1. I haven't been on the Holiday, but I have been on its sister ship, the Celebration.

The Celebration was my first cruise.  I loved the ship, and it seemed big to me at 13!  It's the smallest ship that Carnival has, but it was great.  I actually liked the small feel.  It was easy to find my way around.

Now, I'm hooked!  I'm 16 and planning my 6th cruise.  So, yes, I would say it would be worth it to go on the Holiday!  I've heard great things about it!

    Enjoy your cruise!

  2. As mentioned, the Holiday is a smaller / older ship.  There are some pro's and con's to this.  The pro's are that it's almost impossible to get lost, walks are usually shorter and there usually isn't a line for anything.  the Con's are that it doesn't have the bells as whistles and you can tell that the ship is old by the condition of the carpets, furniture etc.  However, for a quickie cruise, it's a great value.

  3. The Carnival Holiday is one of the older ships in the Carnival fleet so you will have to keep that in mind.  It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the mega ships that do the seven day itineraries but does have a more intimate atmosphere.  It is a bit of a party boat but also remember that alot of locals are likely to be onboard for quick getaways if that matters to you.  I personally prefer the mega ships mainly because the passengers are usually more diverse.  However if you are looking for a quick and affordable getaway and don't mind being on an older ship I doubt you will be disappointed.
