Is the child in the picture holding a gun???

I found this while browsing through Yahoo News Pictures. Look carefully at the child in bottom left... is she holding a gun? Do they give guns to children in Georgia?

Yes they are holding a gun, but I do not know if it's real or a toy gun. It looks real.

It does look like a gun,but it could be one of those toy guns(fake).Or she was just trying it out,holding it for a moment.I don't think the parents would allow a young child that the one in that picture looks like to be in possession of a handgun.

Oh my gosh - I do believe she is holding a gun. It appears they must allow children to play with guns however it also appears that maybe the man to the right of her is saying to hand it over to him.

It sure looks like a gun. But keep in mind that even here in the US children have been killed when cops think a toy gun is the real thing.
