Is the choice of Governor Palin a trap set by Senator McCain to bring out the worst in the Democrats?

Look at all the accusations from the left: that Governor Palin gave birth to her daughter's child, that her open investigation is proof she's unfit (even though she's cooperating AND no subpoenas have been necessary), even the condemning of her small town lifestyle that Senator Obama himself disrespected in San Francisco. Also, people are talking about Governor Palin, NOT Senator Obama.

Did Senator McCain totally outhink, outwit, outflank, and outmanuever his opponents?

dude, i brought up this EXACT point yesterday, especially with the inexperience thing, when they point to the bottom of the gop ticket, we can point to the top of theirs.  they are fighting a losing battle whenever they go after her.

No I think it is just further proof that McCain is like Bush and McCain too just like Bush can pick people like Brownie to do a job that is way beyond their capacity. McCain had a lot of fine qualified female governors, senators and congresswomen with tons of experience and scruples to pick from but he just like Bush chose someone like Brownie.

But you can think what you want to, it just scares me that McCain would want someone like Palin to be a heartbeat away from the presidency

Honestly I cant see Palin in the same category as McCain all of the people that ran against him in the Primary or all of the people that ran in the Dem Primary. Palin just is not in the same league as all of the above. So sorry to break the news to you.
