  1. yes it is !

  2. absolutely

  3. Of course they will.

  4. I believe it is but the school you are attending determines what credits will transfer.

For example, I am attending American Military University (AMU) and it took almost 30 credits from my Basic Training and Tech School and used them towards elective credits.  If I would have gotten my CCAF first and then have transferred, it would have taken them all as well.

If you are talking about if the outside world will look at it as a degree, it all depends.  Most civilian jobs see the military history as one up on the other people applying for the job, but the CCAF is only equivalent to an Associates.  I personally don't think it is as good as a really Associates UNLESS you are still in the military.  Once you get to a certain rank, you can't get anywhere without it.

  5. YES.

  6. Yes it is accredited with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.  I got my CCAF Degree in 1990 and I still use it today.  All my credits transferred to my degree program with the City Colleges of Chicago.  I have worked in both private, city and federal workforce and they all accepted the degree as credible.

It does not matter what school you go to, as long as it is accredited.  I took classes from Bemidji State University in Grand Forks North Dakota!  They all count.

Be aware that you can only get your CCAF degree that is related to your career field!  If you have more than one career, like recruiter, first Sergeant, or cross-trained, you can get more than one degree.

    Good Luck
