  1. The counterbalance of an infinite truth is another equally plausible infinite truth.  An infinite lie would not counterbalance a truth.  It would have no affect on it whatsoever.

    it would seem to me that if there exists an "infinite truth"... there would by definition exist an infinite lie.

    I'd like an example of an "infinite truth".  

    I think that the truth - by it's very nature is "simple".

    Infinitely variable perspectives on the truth of any truth.

    Many truths become untrue with new knowledge, their is surely no ultimate or infinite truth.

    However that maybe untrue.

    Perhaps than the claim of any infinite truth is in fact an infinite lie.
