Are the american people as a whole, as a whole as a whole as a whole (not you personally) (not you personally), better off now than when President Bush too office?

(sorry about repeating as a whole so many times. I just want to make sure some people understand that my question is not about the lives of one person..themselves, but rather about most of the people. So hopefully this will eliminate the answer that some always give on a question like this " I personally am doing fine. I am making money, I am doing great, so therefore everything is great" )

  1. h**l no. We are feared by more countries now. More countries do not appove of our actions. Bulling other countries is not defending the U.S of A. it is a show of power over them that they do not want. Bush should be impeached and hanged for what he has done to this countrie.

  2. I think that times are getting hard and it doesn't matter who took office.

Just everything seems to go up in $$; food, gas, ect.

It makes me sick to be honest.

But theres' nothing that peopel can do besides deal.

and having a new president won't make much difference.

they can talk all they please, but to be real it's just a show.

to please their audience to vote for them.

  3. Of course not, we still had the World Trade Center, when Bush took office. The greatest tragedy of the Bush administration was that, it wasn't given the chance we had to prosper under Clinton. Who knows where this country would be today if it weren't for 9/11. Personally I think we would have built on the 1990's growth and be a virtual Utopia. But of course, that wasn't to be, and America is swirling deeper down a spiral that might actually see Obama as President this fall.

  4. No.

Further reduced taxes on the wealthy so they can own more than they could ever need, and the federal government borrows most of the money it spends from Russia and China.  If either ever decides to attack us, inflation will cause prices to rocket upwards making this current inflation something wished for.

Bush's America is now a world joke.  The economy is becoming as incompetent as the current president.

  5. I gather you can read simply because your question was submitted by computer. America and Americans are much, much worse off. I have to admit that when Mr. Clinton left, or was forced to leave office, there was a surplus. There is now a huge and growing deficit. Some are in fact doing just fine. In the big picture more than most are not doing as well as they used to. Our infrastructure is about twenty years behind times, jobs are still being outsourced and those who pay little or no taxes are doing just great. Iraq now has a 79 billion dollar surplus and we still have very little oil from our failed endeavors. Could that be why they now want us out? There were and continues to be a few billion dollars per day spent on the "war" efforts abroad. America is not feared, America has lost the respect of other nations. Could those billions lost be spent to help those struggling at home, the starving, the homeless, the jobless, the people who lost their homes due to predatory lenders. Some Americans rail against those on welfare, the constitution says what...? There are now many middle class Americans utilizing welfare and food banks. I'm glad you're doing just great. But ask yourself how great will you be doing in the next several years. Really give some thought to those who are not, research and question why? Rock the Vote...
