  2. In terms of food, I'd say "empanadas Salteñas" (which is a funny name, since Salta [salteños are the people from Salta] is a region in Argentina). Be carefull if you try the empanandas salteñas. They are very tasty (I love them) but they're also very juicy, so chances are you'll get your shirt stained. Crafts are the Aymara textiles and pottery, sports... well, let's say that any sport you do at 4,000 meters over sea level (more than 12,000 feet) should be considered outstanding.

    Ruins is probably the area Bolivia is best known for (that and Butch Casidy and the Sundance kid which were killed by the Bolivian Army). The remains of the Tiahuanaco culture are strewn about most of the west of Bolivia with the Puerta del Sol (Literally the "Sun's Door") being the best known exponent.
