Is the crf230F heavy?????

Question

How much heavier is the xr 400?? is it hard to ride cause its heavy. Any unfo about the bike would be great please. Thank You in advance!

Well it is quite heavy for the power output. I had one when I was eleven, and I was starting to ride baja... It wasn't bad then.

It sort of gives you a cushior ride than an R.

The seat is wider, and the weight makes it a little more steady, but never forget the downfalls to all that weight.

With the CRF230f with only a 223cc engine, the weight is a biiotch, if you want to go fast. The compression ratio is 9:0:1 which is quite a low hp output.

The bike is GREAT for a beginner, considering the stablility, and not too wild Horsepower! But for the expert rider, this CRF230f would be rated on the low end of the spectrum.

the 230F weighs in around 230 pounds....the XR400 wieghs 330  or so... the 230 is by far the best off road bike honda makes... it honestly sucks on the track... but then again i was made for the trails...where it thrives... easy power mods and suspension mods make it quite versatile... I could hang with any of my buddies on their MX based 250s and 450s but  they thought I was crazy anyway...go with Maxxis tires  on the rear tire 100/110 wide as opposed to the 100/100 stock size and go down a tooth on the front sprocket you wont miss the top end. the bike is pretty much bullet proof
