  1. Awareness is no spur to action, it takes disasters to motivate us.

  2. ur all hippy's!!

  3. No.  Public awareness is one of the greatest first steps, but unless it can motivate action, then the Tropical Rain Forests are still headed for trouble.

  4. No.

  5. Blame the Palm oil plantations in south america and the companies that utilize this unecessary product in makeup and the like. They are single handedly destroying the rainforests and theri wildlife at an allarming rate.  Also, starbucks coffee purchases soy beans and coffe beans grown from illegally cleared rainforest. Bet ya didnt know that many peoples start their day off  with a nice hot cup of deroyed rainforest.  Kraft is doing the same thing...purchasing soy grow and harvested from illegally cleared rainforests.  Shame on them!  I do believe that they may be trying to redeem themselves to no avail though.

  6. No, there is a tremendous stampede to increase production of ethanol for fuel use, its one example where the total consequences of an environmental cause were not fully thought out before it was put into motion.  Like halting nuclear power plant construction, in favor of "clean burning natural gas"as another example.

  7. Harvest  dead trees in U.S. & save a healthy rain forest!!
