Is the current drop in the cost of a barrel of oil due to Bush lifting the Executive ban on drilling?

I called it! As soon as it looks like we are going to "maybe" start using the supply of oil the US has, which is 8 times the Saudi's supply, the cost of oil will start to fall.

The speculators will be out a lot because of this, it should make the Libs happy. Nevertheless, the Bush "strategery" is working. That cannot be denied.

I just checked the latest data on oil, and its still going DOWN!!!!!

  1. his lift of the ban had no effect on anything including the ban itself. Since the congressional ban is still in effect the oil companies still cannot drill on lands they aren't already leasing.
