  4. no way!p eople think when you are serving them they have the right to disrespect you i think this some how makes them feel powerful we are not ther personal servants we are human beings working to pay the bills just like they are

    Really though, respect the customer but respect yourself as well.  If you do not know how, stay out of the service industry as it would not be healthy for you (or the customers) for you to remain in it.

  6. Yes and No depending on the situations. If an employee who's responsible for the customers didn't serve the latter very well, then customers have the rights to complain. Otherwise, the customers shall keep quiet when an employee's doing his or her best to provide the good service at all costs.

I'm in the service line, but some customers act as if we are their slaves and keep ordering us around.  I would say some, not all though, there are a couple of good customers around but for most local singaporeans we serve, their attitude sux.  They are just trying to be difficult and are so hard to please.
