I've a cenix digital recorder with 40 hours recording (white color). Lately I'd been using it without putting the battery cover. There appeared a kind of rust on the spring part of the battery section. So nothin used to be displayed most of the time when I put the battery on; buut when I put the battery with extra force then the mubo jumbo used to come followed by the actual display. now a new development has taken place. When I put the batteries on only the back light comes and it keeps blinking. On somebodies advice I cleaned the spring portion with an earbud. Hence fort only the backlight is there, followed by the mumbo jumbo of letters n signs n it remains stable-like it's followed by nothin, it just stays there n the display is not comin. What's wrong with it? Is the data saf? Like is it still there and can it be downloaded on a system with the help of a data cable? What can I do about it, do the springs need to be replace? Where can I get it repaired in Delhi? Please help me?
