Is the detective agencies reliable. Or will they manipulate our information and black mail us . In TV seriels and all they show in a different way. Please help.

If you use major agencies, you shouldn't have any problems with their ethics and practices.  These would include the names Pinkerton and Brinkman, both of which have been in the detective business since the late 1800's and have a track record of service to their clients.  I would stay away from agencies that aren't incorporated, are run by only one or two persons, and aren't approved by the BBB (Better Business Bureau).  Also your local police department can tell you who are the best ones to hire in your area since they would be on the lookout to arrest the ones with fraudulent practices and also approve the licenses of the agencies they allow to operate.

Your doubt is the answer to your question with regard to the reliability of detective agencies. Now see most of these detective agencies are neither registered with the police & other governmental authorities nor they engage properly trained & qualified personnel’s to do the investigation & collect relevant evidence required in a case. These untrained/ unqualified personnel’s meet & disclose all details to the people regarding whom they have to conduct investigation & collect relevant piece of evidence thus spoiling the genuineness of the material collected by them which you will like to use as evidence in a case in the court. It’s always better to conduct one's own investigation oneself rather asking outsider to do so for you.

They are just like any other business, some will be reliable and honest to a fault, others will rip you off, and use the information gathered against you any chance they get.

It depends on WHO you're dealing with.

If you're dealing with someone who can be trusted, great, you'll have no problems.

If you're dealing with a low life scum ball greedy jerk who's just out for themselves and money, well, don't

most of the agencies of repute can be trusted n they donnot manipulate info gained during their employment..dont just go for any tom d**k n harry...ask freinds or relatives for references or use yellow pages or directory services the one i used was gud n got me the results i wanted..one more thing the better the detective more are their charges but atleast the chance of them duping is less so dont merely go by the charges...chk the refrences how long they have been in this field etc. n dont pay all the fee in advance.....gud luc
