  1. The "Don't ask, don't tell!" policy condones homosexuality. I find it reprehensible.

  2. Yes they have, seems the lives of American citizens don't seem to matter to them.

  3. Yes, the don't-ask-don't-tell policy hurts Americans.  Also, sanctuary cities hurt Americans.

If people on YA don't like American policy or attitudes you are most welcome to go back where you came from.  No one here would miss you.

  4. of course, if we do not know about it, it can hurt us.

  5. At 10,000+ deaths by illegal aliens each year, I would have to say yes!

Tony the police have this policy too! Only it concerns immigration status! More than 1 person or group can use the same type policy.

  6. NOT AT ALL, I don't think of the g*y as hardcore criminals because that's what the policy is all about, and it pertains to the Military not immigration or police....Duh!. But it's more like, turn away when you hear of an innocent illegal immigrant hurrased, beat or killed by a member of a hate group or an anti-immigration extremist. These people want the laws followed, but they end up breaking laws to get their point accross. Isn't that hypocritical? hmmmmmmm!

Anti-immigration hate on a rapid upswing

The recent rise in number of hate groups also parallels a rise in hate crimes against Latinos, which the FBI reported up by 35 percent between 2003 and 2006. FBI experts say those crimes usually are intended to target illegal immigrants, but often hit legal residents, many of whom are native U.S. citizens.

"Anti-immigrant rage is the No. 1 factor driving the massive growth in American hate groups," says Mark Potok, poverty center's Intelligence Project director. "It's no wonder we are seeing a rise in anti-Latino hate crimes."

What's fueling increase in violence against Latinos?

The poisonous residue of immigrant scapegoating has accumulated in the margins, fueling the rise of hate groups setting their sights on Latinos, regardless of citizenship status.

According to a recent study published by the Southern Poverty Law Center, hate crimes are on the rise, with attacks on Latinos increasing in tandem with the intensification of the immigration debate.
