Is the drop in the Indiana Jones ride in Disneyland Large?

Question

I'm a little afraid of drops in rides, and I want to know if the drop in the Indiana Jones ride is large. If you can, can you include the height? Thanks.

you HAVE to go on that ride!

its my all time favorite!

you'll want to go on it over and over again

it just takes forever to walk thru the temple to reach the actually ride but its totally worth the walk!

no not really they are more like bumps i guess but there are quick turns and on your way in you will see signs that say "dont ride this ride if " blah blah but the ride isnt that bad and you will notice its fast snd there arent a lot of bumps

but i was worried too because i got on when i was 4.

Theres not really any drops.

The thing with Indy, is that its really bumpy and has a lot of turbulence.

It's really fun..one of the must see's.

I didn't even know there was a drop. Most of the ride is just the surroundings and how the vehicle moves through it. The info on the Disneyland website doesn't include details about drops unlike Splash Mountain with a 50 ft drop. Actually, there is one part. When the vehicle stops in the dark, there is an image of a boulder coming at you. The vehicle moves toward it and then it just takes a small dip maybe like 10 ft. NO big deal. It is one of the most popular rides and Disneyland so you should get a fastpass for it. I don't know if you were interested in Space Mountain which is a little more fast paced that Indiana Jones. It is much faster, in the dark, has sudden stops, sharp turns, and sudden drops. The drops again are not that big, but it usually has a sudden stop which leads to a small drop. It is also very popular so get a fastpass if you are thinking about riding it. For me, everytime I go to Disneyland, I always have to ride mainly every thrill ride there. Space Mountain, Indiana Jones, Big thunder mountain railroad ( pretty mild and fun ), Splash Mountain ( probably not for you ), Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters ( very fun ride where you sit in a 2 person vehicle and use your blaster to get your high score ). ^_^ I hope you have fun. There really isn't a drop. My father in law worked on that ride and I've been on it a billion times. There's sort of a drop at the end, I guess.

You won't be scared, there's no "dropping" feeling when it happens.

Not bad at all!

I hate roller coaster,especially that feeling they give you when you go down a drop, and it was super fun.

You just feel like you're going down a hill really fast.you won't even notice when the drop is coming because there's a huge boulder in front of you.

it isn't that terrible, i hate drops too. i don't remember how big the height of the fall was but i cAn tell you that the truck that drives you around during the ride makes weird turns.
