Is the drug alcohol course easy?

It changed my life.

I took a one year concentrated course.  It wasn't "easy", but it wasn't hard.  A lot will depend on the teacher/professor  you get.

Being a recovering person myself, it was helpful to me to better understand my own disease.  After I got my certification, I worked for 11 years in the field before retiring at 62.  I retired as director of a residential treatment facility for PREGNANT women.

Very rewarding work.  Saving lives 2 at a time.

I did notice that very few of the people in the class, who were not recovering people themselves, actually completed the course.  Most lose interest.

If your talking about rehab then its no easy , Every day is a challenge.

LOL its a joke everyone i know that goes ends up at the bar afterwords b/c they talk about alchol and drugs the entire time.  Its not a professional usually, just a counselor trying to get time in to become a real professional.  If you need help, go to an AA or NA meeting.
