Is the earth Round or Flat?

How can we be sure that the earth is round and I won't fall off

isn't it easier to fall off a ball than a sheet of paper? that should be your real cocern, how not to slide down the sides if it is indeed round.

It is a slightly oblate spheroid, we can be sure by evidence that can be found all over the web or in books on earth science.

If you keep walking in a straight line eventually you will come back around that will prove to you that the earth is indeed round and you will not fall off. ( pssst... the rest of you, that ought to keep em busy for awhile )

The earth is a globe, so round. We know this due to round the world journeys and satalite imaging aka satalites up in space looking down on earth.
