Is the earth going to collapse into itself? Texas is exactly on the other side of Central Asia Quake.?

Sammy is totally right. Two points on Earth are only opposite of each other, or antipodes, if they are at least in different hemispheres. Both Texas and Central Asia are in the Northern Hemisphere.

When major quakes happen, only the area near the epicenter physcially collapses. The shock waves then race more or less subtly across the Earth. It's tiny, but just enough to be detected by sensitive instruments.
