  1. According to the NASA website - London will have a partial eclipse reaching its peak around 09.13 when there will be around 0.2 of the Sun obscured. But you will need a proper viewing apparatus to see it or you will damage your eyes. The further North you go the more of the eclipse you will get - Totality is up in the Arctic Circle.

  5. Everywhere in England will see a partial eclipse. The eclipse begins roughly at 9.30 a.m.(varies by a few minutes, depending where you are), will reach maximum at about 10:15 a.m. with between 20% and 30% of the Sun's diameter covered and ends at about 11:05 a.m.
