If gas prices go up, food prices go up, and the greying of america forces people to hold off retirement, making it harder for new graduates to get jobs, how is there a rise in births?
Wouldn't it make sense that less people are willing to start a family in these conditions, thereby lessening the future burden by keeping the population and demand for high priced goods low enough that it can recover? Because even if it isn't happening now, if things do get bad enough that's what would or should happen. People just wouldn't be able to have kids at such a high volume and that would let things level out. Do you ever wonder why that is? Isn't it strange that the world works to regulate itself even on human levels where we don't have control on a wide scale like it would global warming, in both cases keeping humans in check as if we are the problem.
Does it all mean that the economy isn't actually bad or human beings are resisting logic and sending ourselves into failure? What is going on?
