What cities are doing well and have a lot of job oppurtunities for someone still in college.

  1. There are number of cities that are experiencing job growth. However, due to the general economic situation most job markets in the US are becoming tighter. Additionally, keep in mind that job opportunities will be based more on industry rather than location. Certain industries are continuing to grow, mining for instance, and will offer greater opportunity than those that are declining such as the automotive industry.

  2. largely because of the impact of gas rices on nearly every aspect of our lives, the bad economy is fairly evenly felt across all areas. It is relative-areas that were booming are feeling the squeeze, but they are still better off than those that were struggling prior to the downturn in the economy.

    even industries (health care for example) that are less impacted by a recession are facing higher costs due to fuel costs so are not hiring as much as they'd like.
