  1. not intenialy..black ball is concidered taboo til last shot, then you have to call your shot 4 the 8 ball,,,if you miss after a call,,, you lose<>IS<>

  2. Mickey is correct in that the 8-ball can be used in a combination shot as long as it is not the first ball contacted.  A good way to think of it is like this...the 8-ball is only a legal object ball when all of your group has been pocketed.  It's actually a good question.  But no, even on an open table, you cannot legally contact the 8-ball first.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

  3. No never even with an open table -Ball in hand Foul Sorry.

Right Mickey you can use it in the middle of a combo thats fine-Call 5 in corner then shoot 6-8-5 Legal as a prayer meeting  Good point

  4. no and no

  5. no

  6. It is not neutral. If struck before the object ball, it would be a ball in hand foul.

  7. I acutally asked this question before and got runned out of dodge for asking a stupid question....still think it is a good question and always wondered if you could use in on an open table....however, I do believe that you could use it in a combo if you hit your ball first....but not the 8 first....foul!
