Is the elections category the worst one at this site?

I generally spend most of my time in the religion/spirituality section. I've always been amazed by the number of hateful, ignorant arguments (generally about 20-40 percent) written by people there.

But this category is far worse. Are there any fellow Obama supporters OR McCain supporters who are capable of not spreading hate, lies, insensitivity, and ignorance? Or is it something about a close election that brings out the worst in all of us?

I agree. If I was judging either candidate by the people here, I'd be running for the hills.

I don't think either one of them would support US, LOL.
