Is the entertainment area of downtown Toronto safe for tourists at night?if not till what time?

I would say yes but as a rule of thumb I wouldnt be around the area when all the bars close because that seems to be when the most rowdies are out on the street. Just mind your own business and you should be perfectly fine.

Toronto is generally safe. The Entertainment District of Toronto is also quite safe. After clubbing hours, just use common sense and you will be fine. Lots of police are around anyways.

This is a safe city, but if you going to more off the track parts of town, looking for a more rowdy crowd, I would be more observing of my surroundings.

The trendy parts of the town, I would feel safe as I am at home.
