  1. The poor environment's been victimized

by humans for their own selfish uses.

So, what would you suggest? Exterminate

the entire human race so that the environment

can get some of its dignity back?

I have a problem with people caring more about

substances, minerals, rocks, soil, places, plants,

environments and animals than they do humans.

These things were placed here before we were created

and are for our use. Would you give up your computer,

your credit/debit cards, your high paying job, your vehicle,

your cell phone, your gas or electric stove/range/oven,

your refrigerator, your a/c, etc., for the sake of the environment?

If so, then why are you on-line victimizing the environment?

I get so fed up with people claiming that the earth would be much better off without people being in it as if the earth has emotions

or something. Human life wasn't placed here for the earth; earth

was placed here for human life. Let's try to get our priorities in

    order here.

Now, that being said: no..I don't think it's right for man to abuse

the earth, the environment, any animal, etc.,. So, don't go mistaking me as being unconcerned about the environment.

    Peace

    Joy

  2. ...it sure is and we all are a part of its demise...

  3. I think it is.

  4. Ascribing human traits to the "environment" is always a problem. The environment includes some of the deadliest and nastiest viruses and bacteria that can wipe out entire populations. They can wipe out entire populations and species.

One good tsunami, earthquake or volcano can wreak far more havoc than this mere human could ever do.

One good volcano blast can wipe out a forest for generations to come.

  5. At times I believe we are each others worst enemy. The forces of Mother Nature can devastate our shorelines and cities for example and we, as humans, pollute. The late George Carlin had a wonderful comedy routine in which he made fun of the groups who were trying to save the whales, save the rain forests, etc. He talked about how the earth would someday shake us off like so many fleas on a dog and how full of ourselves we were.

  6. To a certain extent, but not nearly as much so as the prevailing politically charged perspective would have you think.

  7. No the environment is not a person or being so it can't be a victim!
