  1. My guess is that the dollar will strengthen over the next year, but not by more than ten percent.  I think it will take two to three years for us to see the dollar appreciate more than that.  My long-term guess is 20 - 22% in three years.

  2. Yes, the US dollars value will boost when our next president (Obama '08!) comes into office and spikes confidence.  It will probably continue upwards from there.

I personally think that the dollar will reach about .85 to the euro again.  remember, it is much more advantageous for us to have a weaker currency than europe, because it prevents deficits and it makes us more competitive for trade.

  3. the fact is that nothing can stop euros positive change and dollars negative. The predictions say that the dollar will lose part of his value more quickly that was estimated and this due to oil crisis. so you have to think that 1 dollar is 0.50 euro.

  4. the European union was created to destroy America so its on its way

  5. "Half of what im worth" ?.   That does not depend on the euro / dollar exchange, it depends on how high prices are in Ireland.  And basically, things are more expensive there than in the USA, but not twice as expensive!  Are you going to paid in dollars or euros?
