Is the euro star like going on plane i.e can you bring liquids and sharp objects?

  1. Yes, the euro star operates like a plane, it has the security gates like at aiports and the waiting rooms are very simular, so I say sharp objects are not allowed.

  2. treat it in the same way as flying, no sharp objects, not sure about liquids but its only a short hop really.

  4. I dont think they would allow a sharpener because you could use the blade to harm someone or yourself

  5. I've travelling Eurostar many times and never had a problem with liquids (i.e. two large water bottles of water). There is a scanner for metal objects though.

  6. Once you check in, you proceed to security. This process is now just like airport security, with metal detectors and a long list of prohibited carry-on items very similar to that of major international airlines.
