If you're into RN ships that's to say.

In 2004 , Leander Class Frigate 'Andromeda' was in India as a training ship. All this class of ship are away now , maybe , just maybe this ship is still afloat

  1. Try looking up Leander in wikpedia it covers all the commissionings and decommissionings and name changes.

  2. As they get old their function and use change a bit.If I have the cash and the big harbour I would love to collect them all....of course the old replicas are more interesting...I still remember the Golden Hind arriving at the San Fransisco Bay...what and unforgettable experience should have been to sail that ship!!! I wonder if it is still open to the public..."Clink Street" London...

  3. Heres some help with your research

Penelope - sold to South America - renamed Presidente Eloy Alfaro

Danae - Ecuador - Morano Valverde

    Andromeda - India - Krishna

Achilles - Chile - Ministro Zenteno

    Diomede - Pakistan - Shamsher

    Apollo - Pakistan - Zulfiguar

Ariadne - Chile - General Banquedano

You can look them up and see if they are still in service, but they wern't down for scrapping.
