  1. Until any of those aircraft go head-to-head, there's really no way to know.

The F-35 is an attack aircraft, and I think I can safely say an F-22 would eat it for lunch.

The Su and the Eurofighter are both from the generation before the F-22, so possibly the F-22 would have an edge.

The service life of the F-15 has already expired, and the birds need to be retired.

  2. Advertisements tends to be misleading, right?

So people tend to believe that things can be "taken out from a 100 miles" when the current longest range F-22 missile inventory doesnt have half that range with a good PoK.

Insofar the Raptor's RCS is not properly published, its supercruising capabilities (flying supersonic with efficiency, not flying supersonic without afterburner) is not demonstrated.

Unfortunately we have only the advertising data of the Su-35 and the Typhoon. So unless they meet in combat, we wouldnt know.

  3. The F-22 seems so far to live up to it's billing. as for the SU-27-37 they are targets for the new stealthy fighters like the F-22 and F-35 the SU-37's won't pick them up on there radars until it way too late. the euro fighter is a match for the SU's but not the F-22's and 35's as the euro fighter isn't that stealthy it big air intakes show up nicely on radar. The F-15 has seen it's best days as seen by the grounding of the fleet due to metal fatigue issues also the raptor seems to easily hold it's own in mock dogfights in which the kill ratio so far has been very lopsided they won't say how lopsided but pretty bad for the 15. It is a new age where stealthy out does speed and maneuver though the F-22 and F-35 have those as well.

  4. The F-22 has POSITIONALBLE thrusters, making it turn faster. But planes don't fight like they used to - with tight corner chases and machine guns. Today's planes will fire a missile from a 100miles away-so it's a first fire win situation in which the F-22 would be able to stay hidden longer-and fire first.

  5. Yes, it is as advertised.  Supercruise has been demonstrated to be very effective along with its sensors and ability to stay hidden.  During exercises, aircraft with eyes on have been unable to lock on a weapon system to the Raptor.  The F-22A has no thrusters...those are on spacecraft.  It has thrust vectoring.  Nothing will match its capabilities anytime soon.  The F-22A is only going to F-15C/D units for transition.

  6. they're all equal

the F15 has seen its time but its still a brill a/c and will be used for ever more years 2 come

  7. The F22 is to replace the aging F15 and is both an F22 and an F/A22 in one package ( hence replacing the F15 and the F15E). It is currently in a class of it's own due to it's stealth modes and vector thrust factors. Though there are several other top fighters, they lack the 22's  stealth and vector thrust modes. The F35 JSF is a compliment to the Raptor and comes in two main versions, the USAF strike fighter class and the Navy carrier and Marine VTO classes. It will replace such aging birds as the F117 and the Harrier. One main advantage it has over the Raptor is it is far less expensive to manufacture and maintain, but has it's place in the air superiority inventory.

The FY47 is also a skunk works project and has many of the Raptors features with one big difference. It doesn't have a pilot!! Hence "G" forces are no longer limited to what the jock can stand.

Just one final thought: The F/A22 not only can engage up to 6 targets at a time with fire and forget ordnance from 150 miles out, it still carries a rapid fire Volcan type machine gun cannon for dog fighting should the need arise.
