Is the film industry hard to get into?

I don't know much about the film industry, and i want to know all i can. i am thinking about film school and becoming a director, producer, or writer(haven't decided). i am in high school and would like to know what i need to do to get into the film industry. also, is it a difficult thing to get into. if you can post a url with a lot of info, i'd really appreciate it.
